Minnesota Wild Playoff Hopes
The Minnesota Wild still have very optimistic playoff chances this year. With their 31-26 record this season they haven’t been stellar, but they are definitely much more talented and experienced than most of their competition for the second wild card spot. Their closest rivals for the spot are the Colorado Avalanche. The Av’s have some solid offense but their defense is nowhere to caliber of Minnesota’s defense. Besides the Avalanche most other teams in the conference are too far out to be any threat. The Minnesota Wild play tomorrow, March 10th, against the Edmonton Oilers; who sit at the very bottom of the conference at 26-36. Then on Saturday a out of conference away matchup against the Montreal Canadiens. Make sure to come out to the Excel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN to cheer on the Wild!!
